Deluxe Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. applesauce
3/4 c. nuts
3/4 c. raisins
3/4 c. dates

Preparation

Mix in order given.
Bake in 5 1/2 x 11 1/2-inch pans.
Bake 60 minutes at 325\u00b0 or until a toothpick comes out clean.
