Pecan Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. softened butter
    1 c. sifted flour
    1 egg
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. soft butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. nuts
Preparation
    Mix together cream cheese, 1/2 cup softened butter and sifted flour and chill 1 hour.
    Press into miniature tins.
    Beat egg, brown sugar, 1 tablespoon soft butter, vanilla and salt.
    Chop nuts.
    Put 1/2 in bottom of pans.
    Put in filling.
    Top with remaining nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
