Scalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (12 oz.) fresh oysters
    1 pt. half and half
    crackers
Preparation
    Drain
    the liquid from the oysters and mix it with half and half;
    season
    with
    salt
    and
    pepper and a few drops of Tabasco. Butter
    an
    8
    x 12-inch Pyrex dish.
    Crumb 1/2-inch crackers
    in bottom of dish.
    Put in a layer of oysters.
    Pour 1/2
    liquid over
    this
    and dot with butter.
    Put in 1/4-inch layer
    of crackers,
    a layer of oysters and remaining liquid. Dot with butter.
    Sprinkle with finely crushed crackers.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serve immediately.
