Cornbread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. milk
2 to 3 Tbsp. canola oil (for greasing baking pan)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. In a bowl, mix sugar and eggs. Combine flour, meal, baking powder and salt. Add to the egg mixture; stir in melted butter and milk. Bake in a greased 9 x 13 baking pan for 30 minutes, until golden brown.
