Boiled Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 gal. milk
3 1/2 to 4 c. sugar
9 eggs
1/4 c. flour
vanilla to taste (I use approximately 2 Tbsp.)
Preparation

Scald milk.
Beat eggs, sugar and flour together.
Add gradually to milk, stirring constantly.
Cook until mixture starts to thicken.
Add vanilla to taste.
