Potatoes On The Grill - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    potatoes, sliced in half lengthwise
    onion slices
    seasoned salt
    pepper
    butter
    crumbled bacon (optional)
    parsley or other herb (optional)
Preparation
    Use heavy foil.
    On a square of foil, place 1/2 potato.
    Top with onion slices, salt, pepper and butter.
    Top with other half of potato.
    Wrap tightly with foil and place on coals.
    Roast for 1/2 hour to 1 hour, turning often.
    With oven mitt on, squeeze to check doneness.
    I roast the potatoes first, then when I am ready to grill the meat, I move the potatoes to an area with no coals until the meat is done.
