Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, shredded
    1 carrot, diced or chopped
    1 bell pepper, diced or chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix cabbage, carrot, and bell pepper.
    Cover with salt.
    Make a syrup of vinegar,
    sugar, water, and celery seed.
    Boil for 1 minute.
    Cool to lukewarm and pour over cabbage.
    Stir and pack. Keeps indefinitely in the freezer.
