Easy Floated Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    white bread, stale, 6 slices
    3 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly; add sugar, salt, vanilla and eggs to the milk.
    Butter slices of bread and arrange in 1 1/2-quart baking dish, buttered side down, with raisins between slices.
    Pour liquid mixture over them and let stand for 1 hour.
    Dot top with butter; bake about 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Serve while hot with hard sauce or cream or plain.
