Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. cucumbers, pared and sliced
    1 1/2 lb. green tomatoes, cored and thinly sliced
    1 1/2 lb. onions, sliced
    4 green peppers, chopped
    1 red pepper, chopped
    3 c. white sugar
    3 c. white vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Wash and prepare
    vegetables.
    Combine
    vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed and celery seed; bring to boil. Add vegetables
    and simmer for
    10
    minutes.
    Continue
    simmering
    while quickly packing in hot sterilized
    jars. Fill to 1/8-inch top. Seal immediately.
