Grandma'S Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. oil
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. grated carrots
    1/2 c. nuts
    raisins (optional)
Preparation
    Beat eggs, oil & sugar, cream well. Sift in dry ingredients. Fold in carrots and nuts. Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean, at 350\u00b0. Makes 3 layers or 1 9 x 13 cake. Top with cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
