Alice'S Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. water (approximately)
    1/2 jar Jif peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Place sugar in saucepan, and add water to cover sugar.
    Boil until it reaches soft ball stage.
    Remove from stove.
    Add vanilla, and quickly add peanut butter.
    Pour into a buttered dinner plate.
    Let cool, then cut and eat.
