Hamburger Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. onion, chopped
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/4 c. shortening
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms with liquid
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    2 tsp. minced parsley
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in shortening until tender.
    Add beef; brown lightly.
    Pour off drippings.
    Season with salt and pepper. Add mushrooms and liquid; cook 5 minutes.
    Add soup; simmer for 10 minutes.
    Add sour cream and parsley.
    Pour over cooked noodles; bake until heated through.
    Can be topped with grated cheese.
