Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    2 sq. melted chocolate
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Sift salt, baking powder, baking soda and flour together. Cream the butter and sugar, then add the well beaten egg and chocolate. Add flour alternately with 1 cup sour milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake in baking pan several inches deep.
    Ice with chocolate or white icing and cut in blocks.
