Batter Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg active dry yeast
    2/3 cup warm water
    2 Tbsp sugar
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 cup shortening
    1 egg
    1 cup flour plus additional 2/3 cup flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add sugar, salt, shortening, egg, and 1 cup flour.
    Beat well until smooth.
    Add remaining flour, a little at a time, and beat well.
    Grease muffin pan.
    Fill each muffin half full.
    Let rise in warm place, free from drafts for about 30 - 40 minutes.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 - 20 minutes.
