Perfect Meringue - cooking recipe

3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Beat egg whites with vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Don't overbeat the egg whites before adding the sugar or the meringue will leak, making the top of the pie filling moist and slipping.
Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff glossy peaks form and sugar dissolves.
Rub some meringue between your fingers.
You should not feel any sugar granules.
Spread meringue over hot filling.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
