Potato Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks or 2 whole eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. mustard
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. strong vinegar
    1 pt. sour cream
    butter (the size of an egg)
Preparation
    In saucepan, add flour, mustard, sugar, salt and eggs.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add cream and beat, then add vinegar, a little at a time.
    Cook over a pan of boiling water or stir constantly over medium heat until mixture thickens.
    When cool, pour over cooked, diced potatoes, onions, celery seed and boiled eggs.
    Mix thoroughly.
