Pineapple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vegetable shortening
    3 c. sugar
    8 large eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.
    Add flour and salt.
    Add vanilla.
    Gradually stir in pineapple.
    Grease the bottom of a tube pan.
    Add batter; bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, or until cake tests done.
