Hawaiian Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chickens, quartered
    1/2 c. unsifted flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 c. butter
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Wipe chicken well with damp paper towels.
    Combine flour, ginger, salt and pepper in paper bag.
    Shake chicken in mixture, coating well.
    Brown chicken in butter, turning often.
    Combine pineapple, soy sauce and water; pour over chicken.
    Cover; simmer for 30 minutes or until tender.
    Serve with rice.
