Sour Cream Nut Cake - cooking recipe

1/2 lb. butter or oleo
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1 carton sour cream
1/4 tsp. soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter or oleo and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.
Sift flour 3 times; mix soda in sour cream.
Add flour and sour cream alternately.
Add flavoring; mix well.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300\u00b0.
