Shortbread Drops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 egg yolk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Blend in egg yolk, vanilla and salt. Mix well.
    Stir in flour.
    Mix in nuts and drop by small teaspoons onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until light brown on bottom.
    Makes 4 dozen.
