Cream Of Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 shallots, chopped
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms
    4 c. chicken broth
    1 c. heavy cream
    dash of salt and white pepper
    1/4 c. sherry
    garlic powder
    dash of Kitchen Bouquet
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Saute shallots in melted butter in pan and add mushrooms. Continue to saute for 5 minutes, then add chicken broth.
    Bring soup to boil and simmer about 1/2 hour.
    Pour into blender gradually and mix until smooth.
    Return soup to pan; add cream, salt, pepper and sherry.
    Add rest of ingredients.
    Serve very hot.
