Bee'S Bingo Cherry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 (3 oz.) pkg. cherry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the gelatin and hot water.
Add the pineapple and cherry pie filling.
Pour into an 8 x 10-inch pan; chill until set.
Soften the cream cheese; mix well with the sugar.
Blend in the sour cream and vanilla.
Spread over the gelatin mixture.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Serves 6.
