Easy Banana Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    48 vanilla wafers
    1 (4 serving size) pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    2 1/2 cups milk
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 medium bananas, sliced
    whipped cream or topping
Preparation
    Line the bottoms and sides of a 8 inch cake pan or 1 1/2 quart baking dish with wafers.
    Combine pudding mix, milk and butter in a sauce pan.
    Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
    Remove from heat.
