German Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage, coarsely shredded
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 large green bell pepper, chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. celery seed
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients and set aside for 2 hours. Bring to a boil the remaining ingredients.
    Pour over the cabbage mixture and mix well.
    Let stand several hours or overnight.
