Creamy Noodles And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 c. chopped carrots
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 pouch Campbell's dry noodle soup mix
    2/3 c. uncooked rice
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    2 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook carrots and onion until tender, stirring often.
    Add water, soup mix and rice.
    Heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low.
    Cover; cook 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in cheese.
    Makes 4 servings.
