Oven Barbecued Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. cut up ribs or country style ribs
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 c. ketchup
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    dash of garlic
    1 c. ginger ale
    1/2 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Preboil spareribs about 30 minutes (don't overcook).
    Drain and cool.
    Line large baking dish or roaster with onions.
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
    Refrigerate overnight. Cook next day, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or more.
