Kathy'S Cranberry Salsa - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/4 c. fresh lime juice
    3 medium jalapeno peppers, sliced (do not seed)
    1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced
    1 bunch cilantro, diced
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, chili powder, lime juice and jalapenos; heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 4 minutes, or until cranberries are tender and mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
    Stir in scallions and cilantro.
    Let stand at room temperature until mixture has cooled.
    Enjoy during the holidays with your favorite tortilla chips.
