Sweet-Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 1/2 lb. pork, cubed or in strips
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 onion, chopped
Preparation
    Brown pork in oil.
    Cover and cook over low heat a few minutes.
    Drain pineapple; set fruit aside.
    Combine juice, sugar, cornstarch, vinegar, water and soy sauce in a saucepan.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened.
    Add salt, if desired.
    Pour the sauce over the meat and stir in pineapple, green pepper and onion. Simmer until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
    Serve with white or brown rice.
    Serves 4.
