Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream the Crisco and sugar. Add flavoring.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Spoon batter into greased 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until cake tests done.
