Tarts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 to 2/3 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening and butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle milk (1 tablespoon at a time) over mixture.
Stir with fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape into balls (about 3/4-inch).
Place into ungreased mini muffin pans and shape to make tarts.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool.
Yields 60 tarts.
