King'S Arms Tavern Old Fashioned Raisin-Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    1 1/3 c. cooked rice
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice (fresh)
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    2/3 c. seedless raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease 2-quart casserole.
    Combine sugar and nutmeg; add to milk and eggs and beat well.
    Fold in rice, lemon juice, vanilla and melted butter.
    Prepare a pan of boiling water.
    Put casserole in water, then pour in mixture.
    Sprinkle raisins in mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.
    Test with a knife.
    Don't overbake.
