Taco Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1 1/4 oz. pkg. taco seasoning mix
    1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    3 oz. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    2 tomatoes, cut in 1-inch pieces
    chili sauce (optional)
    hot pepper sauce (optional)
    salsa
    corn chips or tortilla shells
Preparation
    In large skillet, brown ground beef and onion; drain.
    Stir in seasoning mix and hot water. Simmer over low heat about 10 minutes.
    Stir.
