Oven-Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cornflakes, crushed fine or 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning or 1/2 tsp. thyme or sage
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. margarine or 1/2 c. buttermilk or 1/2 c. low-fat yogurt
Preparation
    Rinse chicken and pat dry.
    You may sprinkle with salt and pepper, if desired.
    Place crumbs and seasoning in a plastic bag and shake to mix.
    Brush or dip each piece of chicken in margarine or milk.
    Place in a bag and shake to coat.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 45 to 55 minutes or until tender and no longer pink.
    If browning too rapidly, you may place aluminum foil loosely over top.
    Serves 6.
