Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
1 egg
1/2 c. grated onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. sugar

Preparation

Add milk to make stiff batter.
Drop by spoon into hot fat and fry until brown.
Especially good with fish.
