Hot Salad Dressing(Can Be Used For Lettuce Or Endive.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, cut in small pieces and fried crisp
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 egg yolk
    dash of pepper
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Fry bacon and set aside.
    Blend the flour into the grease and brown.
    Add the vinegar and stir until thickened.
    Mix together the sugar and pepper; add to the mixture.
    Pour over the beaten egg yolk; mix well.
    Put on heat again and cook 1 minute longer.
    Add the bacon bits and stir.
    Pour over salad while still hot.
