Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 c. quick cooking oats
    1 1/2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
    1/2 c. milk
    4 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1 lb. pork sausage, browned and drained
    1 c. chopped onion
Preparation
    Add 1 cup chopped onion to sausage after all grease is removed and cook, stirring often for 10 minutes.
