Quick Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. or 1 (16 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) can condensed sweetened milk
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Butter a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix ingredients in a double boiler over medium-high heat until melted.
    Spread in cake pan, then refrigerate.
    Yields 2 pounds.
