Chicken Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. ground cooked chicken breast
    3/4 c. oats (uncooked)
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    vegetable oil
    15 to 20 whole cloves
    1/3 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. cold water
    2 c. pineapple juice
    1/4 c. lemon juice
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well; shape into 1-inch balls.
    Fry in a small amount of hot oil over medium heat until brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Tie whole cloves in cheesecloth and set aside.
    Combine 1/3 cup brown sugar and cornstarch in a large saucepan.
    Gradually add water, stirring until smooth.
    Add pineapple juice and lemon juice; cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and thick.
    Add meatballs and whole cloves.
    Simmer on low 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove cheesecloth bag.
    Makes 4 1/2 dozen.
