Spaghetti Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. spaghetti, broken in 2-inch pieces
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 qt. spaghetti sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1 lb. cottage cheese
    12 oz. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Cook spaghetti and drain.
    Mix beaten egg, butter and Parmesan cheese with drained pasta. Pat down in 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Top with cottage cheese.
