Sweet-Sour Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. carrots
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 sticks cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    4 Tbsp. salad oil
    2/3 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Arrange carrots in casserole.
    Mix remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Simmer for 15 minutes and strain.
    Pour over carrots.
    Cover and chill for 24 hours.
    Serves 8 to 10.
