Scotch Scones - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 stick of margarine
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. Karo syrup (add to milk)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients.
Roll mixture out to 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick.
Cut in circles or wedges.
Brown and slowly bake on sparingly greased griddle (not too hot).
