Blueberry Batter Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. blueberries
juice of 1/2 lemon
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Sprinkle berries with lemon juice.
Pour evenly in well-greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Cream 3/4 cup sugar and butter. Sift flour, baking powder and 1/2 of salt together.
Add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
Pour batter over berries.
Combine 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and rest of salt. Sprinkle evenly over cake.
Cover cake with boiling water.
Bake for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
