Holiday Eggnog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    freshly ground nutmeg
    cinnamon
    1 pt. whipping cream
    2 qt. milk
    2 c. sugar
    1 doz. eggs, separated with whites beaten
    1 qt. bourbon
    6 oz. dark rum
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks to light yellow.
    Add bourbon and rum slowly, beating mixture constantly.
    Add sugar, then milk.
    Fold in whipping cream, then very stiffly beaten egg whites.
    Top with a sprinkling of cinnamon and nutmeg.
