Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
flour
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp. oil
1 medium onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 green pepper, diced
1 can tomato soup
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Cut meat into serving pieces.
Season with salt and pepper and roll in flour.
Heat oil in large skillet or Dutch oven.
Brown meat on both sides.
Add onion, celery, green pepper, tomato soup and water.
Simmer on low flame about 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
