Yule Bowl - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Oranges
    Whole Cloves
    1 pint Rum
    1 quart Sweet Hot Cider
    1/2 c. Sugar
    1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp Nutmeg
Preparation
    Stick the oranges full of the cloves and bake until soft.
    Pour the rum and sugar over them and set them aflame (do this in a flameproof pot).
    Extinguish with the cider, add the spices and keep hot over a low flame or in a crock pot, until ready to serve. Very elegant in a punch bowl.
    Serves 10-12.
