Pork Chop Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. rice (uncooked, not instant)
    4 pork chops
    1 tomato, sliced
    1 onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 tsp. marjoram
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can beef consomme
Preparation
    Put rice on bottom of 9 x 9-inch casserole dish.
    Set aside. Brown pork chops.
    Put pork chops on top of rice.
    Put a thick slice of tomato, green pepper and onion on each chop.
    Sprinkle with spices and pour beef consomme on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
