Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

1 pkg. Betty Crocker's yellow cake mix (prepared according to directions on pkg.)
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 cube butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. butter
5 eggs
3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter or regular margarine
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 (4 oz.) pkg. sweet cooking chocolate, melted
3 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Cream together sugar and butter.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla and melted chocolate.
Blend in thoroughly.
Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
Pour batter into lightly greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) 1 1/2 hours.
When done, let stand 10 minutes in pan, then remove cake from pan to rack and cover loosely until cool.
Makes 16 servings.
