Chile Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. pinto beans, can or cooked
1 c. tomato sauce
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. red pepper
1 small onion
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
-
Mix meat with seasonings and put in pot after shortening has been heated.
Let it cook until done on a medium heat.
Add 1 cup of water, onion, chopped bell pepper and tomato sauce, also beans. Let this simmer for 10 minutes.
A serving for 6.
