Valentine Red Velvet Pound Cake - cooking recipe

2 sticks margarine or butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 egg
3 c. plain flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Cream sugar, margarine and Crisco.
Mix flour, cocoa and baking powder together.
Add eggs into sugar, margarine and Crisco, one at a time.
Add flour and milk to mixture, beginning and ending with flour.
Add flavoring.
Pour into pan. Bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350\u00b0, usually 2 hours.
