Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine and pour into 9 x 13-inch loaf pan.
    Dab butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar on bottom of pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
